Los Angeles, July 5, 2021 — The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers announced today that Mark Biderman, CFA, has joined the Board of Directors as Chairman of the Audit Committee.
Mark has extensive operational, capital markets, governance and leadership experience, including his role as the CFO of National Financial partners from 1999-2008 where he helped guide the company through rapid growth and an initial public offering. Mark served as Director and Audit Committee Chair for Atlas Energy (NASD: ATLS) and currently serves as a Director and Audit Committee Chair for Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance (NYSE: ARI). Mark is a member of the Disciplinary Review Committee at the CFA Institute and has served as a board member and Treasurer of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and board member and Treasurer of the Lower East Side Tenement Museum. Mark earned his BSE in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA in Finance from Harvard Business School.
